Ruth Peltason is a respected author, editor, jewelry historian, and lecturer at major U.S. museums and auction houses. Her career spans the arts, publishing, and luxury goods. She was Senior Editor, Director of Design & Style Books at Abrams, and today runs Bespoke Books. Her jewelry books include Elizabeth Taylor: My Love Affair with Jewelry; Set in Style: The Jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels; and David Webb: The Quintessential American Jeweler. Her forthcoming book is Modern Jewels: Redefining Jewelry Style in the 1960s & 1970s. Ruth has written for 1stdibs, Vanity Fair, Air Mail, Sotheby’s, and ASJH (American Society of Jewelry Historians).
