In honor of the comic’s 75th anniversary, Monica Rich Kosann and Peanuts are teaming up to release a collection of friendship bracelets featuring iconic words and phrases from the comic strip. “OOF “, “AAUGH”, “SMAK”, and of course “GOOD GRIEF” are all part of the collection, which consists of 10 different styles available in 18K yellow gold or sterling silver with natural diamonds and precious gemstones. “We heard about their 75th anniversary coming up, and as a huge Peanuts fan growing up, I wanted us to be a part of it,” Kosann shares exclusively with Only Natural Diamonds.

According to a press release from the brand, each bracelet represents a different emotion: “OOF” for the bumps in the road on one’s way to their final destination, “AAUGH” to the frustrations met along the way, “GOOD GRIEF” to remind us of the power of our vulnerability, and of course “SMAK” as a heartfelt expression of love. Wearing each one of the bracelets can remind us how far we’ve come to get to where we’re going, and the highs and lows of the journey.

The relatability of the characters and their universal language play into the wearability of the designs. “This launch collection captures iconic Peanuts words, designed into everyday pieces that can be part of everyone’s wrist stack,” Kosann continues. “The Peanuts characters are magical, all the emotions and everyday stories they encounter are super relatable to us all.” It’s no wonder phrases like “good grief” have made their way into the zeitgeist beyond the comics!

The collaborative line of bracelets joins a slew of iconic collections from the designer, like the Points North collection, her tennis bracelet collaboration with tennis player Chris Evert, and her famous lockets.
