Over the last year, Tiffany & Co. has been launching its Blue Book collection, Tiffany Céleste, and this month brings us the third and final chapters. Celebrating legendary Tiffany & Co. designer Jean Schlumberger, the four new chapters include Owl on a Rock, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Star Burst.

“Each chapter began with an intensive study of the subjects or themes that inspired it. For the fall launch of Tiffany Céleste, the Star Burst, Phoenix, Owl on a Rock, and Unicorn chapters reference archival Jean Schlumberger masterpieces, such as his Phoenix brooch,” says Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer, Tiffany & Co., in a press release. “Each new design is an ode to Jean Schlumberger’s boundless creativity.”

Tiffany & Co. also reveals new designs from previously unveiled chapters, including Apollo, Arrow, Ray of Light, and Shooting Star. “Each creation rediscovers Jean Schlumberger’s iconic interpretations of the sun, moon, stars, distant galaxies, and fantasy worlds,” reads a press release.

The four main chapters are proving to be some of the most creative works yet, each one featuring plenty of natural diamonds.

The Owl on a Rock is a clear take on the classic Schlumberger Bird on a Rock but with a nocturnal twist. Each brooch features a natural diamond studded owl perched on a “moon rock,” including black opals, moonstones, tanzanites, and star sapphires “Representing mystery, magic, and the spirit world, the owl brooches portray the Bird on a Rock at night, keeping with the spirit of the starry sky,” says Tiffany & Co.

The myth of the Phoenix rising from the ashes has played into past Schlumberger designs, and this chapter also captures the symbol of rebirth through fire opals, Umba sapphires, rubellites, and, of course, natural diamonds.

Inspired by Schlumberger’s Crazy Twist designs, the Unicorn chapter’s star piece is an “extraordinarily imaginative” Unicorn brooch featuring a diamond-encrusted, twisted horn and a 25-carat bi-color cushion cut tourmaline.

An ode to galaxies with high starburst activity, the Star Burst chapter features designs with “brilliant luminosity.” A high point of this chapter is a natural diamond necklace with six oval cabochon Crystal opals totaling 64 carats.

Spring brought the first six chapters of Tiffany Blue Book, Wings, Arrow, Constellation, Iconic Star, Ray of Light, and Apollo. Summer followed up with Peacock, Shooting Star, and Flames. Each seasonal launch came with a high-profile event to showcase the stunning jewels. The fall launch of Blue Book 2024 will debut at an exclusive high jewelry event in Madrid this fall.
